	Laid in Britain is formed from a consortium of independent egg producers who market their produce on a regional or local basis.

All are members of the United Kingdom Egg Producers Association Ltd, which caters for the smaller to medium sized egg producer who wishes to have the closest contact with the end user, their customers. Laid in Britain is an extension of this arrangement, in that it offers the highest standards of food safety and bird welfare.
